Peter’s practice covers all areas of civil and commercial litigation. He has a growing reputation for advising on complex legal issues and securing meaningful results for clients. He is always mindful of the importance of managing the costs and risks of litigation.
He is familiar with applying for interim injunctions and stays of proceedings at short notice. He has appeared in various cases that have set landmark precedents for the interpretation of local laws, across a range of areas.
His cases have been reported in leading international journals, including Law Reports of the Commonwealth and West Indian Reports. He has been recognised by the Chambers Guide.
Peter regularly acts as an arbitrator, and also sits as a mediator. He has been instructed to provide expert evidence of Bermuda law for foreign proceedings. He is also available to act as an Examiner for the taking of depositions in Bermuda.
Peter has been instructed in cases that have been appealed to the Privy Council. He is qualified to appear before the Privy Council in matters from any jurisdiction.
Peter has been called to the Bar of England and Wales (not practising) and the Bermuda Bar.
